Fuck this heat, no matter where you are.
You know its bad when a "cold front" comes in and drops the temps down to 99 and you suddenly feel like going outside and doing yardwork you've been neglecting!

I came back to Seattle, and landed in 83 degrees and sun! Summer is finally here in the PNW!!!!

Oh ..... tomorrow is 67 and rainy.

Apparently the same weather system that's been causing the awful heat everywhere else is causing our non-summer out here. Yeah, I wouldn't care to have the heat instead of this, but .... surely those aren't the only two options? 65 and 95?

he says when he sat out on a deck when the heat index was like 110 or some shit.

I'll take 120F dry heat anytime compared to that.
oh yeah, like ashley said i've seen 100% humidity. it's awful.

i do miss the hot weather though. it was uncomfortable walking around outside, but i just carried a fan with me everywhere. spray water in my face, use the fan, and it's like i'm in front of a freezer. i should've brought one back to nz with me since there's no reprieve from summer here - no one has a/c.

summer > winter

94% humidity right now. It's nasty out there, but thank God it's only 73 (at 8 in the morning) faaaaar more bearable when compared with last week.

In SoCal it's been mild, which means we will get ridiculously hot in September. Freaking Santa Ana winds.

I did briefly experience the heatwave in Memphis. I thought I was going to melt. The worst part was walking outside at night. It kept getting more humid and not that much cooler. Ugh.

Down here around the 'armpit' states, or more like the 'bottom of your shoe states' I think we must be neighbors to the gates of hell because even when the wind blows, heat is just being blown into your face. It's hot as a hairdryer in you face... And it's most definitely hotter than in New York. Right now its 96* with a heat index of 104.

It's been cold and rainy all month.
