and if you don't know where you're going...any roa
As the thread title suggests....I'm going to Philly for a weekend in July. Other than catching a Phillies game (which I will be), does anyone have any suggestions of other places I should check out? The historical stuff leaps to mind like the Liberty Bell, but open to other things also.

Thanks :)

In Philly - go to 30th St Station (it's on 30th St, just west of the Schuykill River). You can buy train tickets to NY. Do that. Then get on the train with aforementioned ticket, and leave Philly. You will love it!

Or - South Street is a fun place to get some drinks. There's a lot of good restaurants and bars all around Philly. Rittenhouse is a nice area.

In all honesty, Beav is correct about one thing: South Street is pretty fun. New York is overrated, ignore the shit out of that statement.

Also, Beav: GFY.
