Our cucumber plants are going insane, so we've been eating a lot of those. I've started roasting corn tortillas over the fire on the stovetop and filling them with hummus, sliced cucumbers, avocado, and turkey. They're like cool and refreshing soft tacos and are really good on hot days.

Food Porn and Discussion.

I was gonna post some photos from my iPad, but I don't think they're showing up. Bummer. But we do need more food porn!

The photos actually worked? That's good!

Yeah, that's all stuff that I've made within the last few months. I took pictures with my iPad to put on Facebook, like a food dork.

It's a flourless chocolate torte from Martha Stewart magazine (also on her web site). It's gluten free and very, very good.

We have two jalapeño plants in the garden this year and I am loving grilled cheese sandwiches with fresh jalapeños and cream cheese. So good.

It's a flourless chocolate torte from Martha Stewart. It's fantastic!

I've missed this thread. What's everyone growing in their gardens this summer? I planted some kohlrabi just to see what they're like and so far they look like Sputnik. Otherwise, I've got Big Guy jalapenos, some bell peppers in different colors, Sweet Success cucumbers, and some beets. I'm hoping to make more pickled jalapenos than I did last year and maybe some more sweet relish if I feel like making another terrible mess in the kitchen like I did last summer.
