I've seen it, but I haven't tried it. I found some Sierra Nevada Hefeweizen that I'll be trying tonight, then I might try a Rogue.

A local grocery store is shutting down and selling everything at clearance prices. They only marked the liquor at 25% off but still, hello 6-pack of Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat.

I have now tried both of these, and I concur with both of your statements. I've got some new entries to my favorites list Thanks for the suggestions!

Why are you drinking it out of a bottle?

But seriously, I'm not a fan either, though I've probably already made my dislike of wheat beers clear here.

It was from the cinema bar. I mean, it was drinkable, but I'd never get a six pack or anything.

I almost refused it because when he said "white beer" I thought he said "light beer".

I like Hoegaarden well enough. There are far better Belgian/French beers out there, though, so don't take it as representative of that brew type. Domaine du Paige, for example, is a great French beer. The fruit notes and spices hit your tongue at different times, giving it an extremely refined flavor profile.

No offence to you whatsoever, but I never want to talk about beers like that. I'll just roll with I like this beer / I don't like this beer

I think all the best French beers I've had have actually been Canadian.

Sad that production of Granville Island Brewing's Lions Winter Ale will soon be put to bed for another year. I'm stocking up on that as much as I can! Love that beer.
