While I already knew that some Americans think Sweden and France are socialist, the view that drinking a glass of wine is somehow indicative of a 'liberal' political attitude is a new one on me.

Uhm, sorry to tell you some of you, but there is some truth to what 2861U2 is saying.

My family are big fans of Glenn Beck. They e-mail everyone, including me, videos of his show. Today, he had a video of Anita Dunn, who is part of the WH press office, saying her two heroes are Mao Tse-Tung and Mother Teresa.

I am not one of those who think Beck is a great guy. I usually ignore those videos my family sends me. But this time, I decided to take a look and see what the big deal was.

I don't know if some of you would watch this video, but I am curious about what people may think about this.

So it turns out Fox News edited that quote and cut off the end of it.

I belong to an infamously strict and conservative religion, full of ritual and rules, but I am very open towards. . . a lot of things. I'm pro-life, but I think pro-life people are absurd in their tactics. When you show off bloody fetuses, you traumatize the pro-lifers, and the pro-choicers STILL will be for the choice! And that's a grey area, whether the child is a child. I just PERSONALLY believe it's a child.

I'm totally okay with homosexuality. Times a thousand. I actually live with a lesbian, which confuses the shit out of people, hee!

I'm all for gun control and I am very much against war. With exception of the abortion bit, I'm a real ol' hippie who just happens to follow one of the strictest religions in the world. . .

This is a woman and an administration who attacks Fox News for asking questions and for not kissing their ass, yet can't call Glenn Beck to refute the accusations of being Marxists and radicals.
