Up until 3 weeks ago I lived in this town. My flat was 2 minutes walk from this wall:

Thank you. I had to go back there today as I do voluntary work in Bridgwater, and the cracks in the wall have got larger. Engineers have put sprayed fast drying concrete in the gap between the road and the river bank to prevent the whole road falling into the river when the wall does collapse.

My car was destroyed in the floods in Dublin a few weeks ago. Flooding events seem to be becoming more common in north western Europe.
