So much hatred in this forum for iron horse, I don't get it?

Anyway, heterosexuals are quite vital for human existence and economic progress in the world. Let the gays make up the outliers from a natural process.

I think that with the enormous overpopulation on this planet, you'd actually be welcoming gay people for not overpopulating even more! We need more gays, less heterosexuals. For the sake of the planet!

Heterosexuality is a great thing. I am here because of heterosexuality.

What concerns me is the extraordinary amount of rape, violence, and abuse heterosexual women undergo at the hands of their heterosexual male partners.

What can we do to stop heterosexual men from harming their partners? Is there a crisis at the heart of heterosexuality? Is heterosexuality always aggressive and adversarial? Even when abuse is out of the question, it amazes me how much heterosexuals seem to hate each other after they break up (and before). Is the gap between the genders too much to overcome? Are most straight relationships a series of misunderstandings, miscommunications, and inability to effectively communicate real wants and needs? We know that 50% of straight couples will divorce, would it be an even higher number if not for children?

Do successful gay relationships where equality is part of its DNA perhaps suggest a way forward for a heterosexuality in crisis? Could gay marriage be the one thing that can save straight marriage?

Great thread, Iron Horse! I look forward to your tackling some of the issues and questions I've put forth.

.
I'm gonna guess that when we have a couple of decades of gay marriage stats under our belts the divorce rate will be fairly similar to that of straight marriages. I don't think a relationship failing has to do with whether its straight or gay. Do all gay long term relationships last forever?...not from what I've seen, only difference is we didn't have official marriage/divorce statistics for them previously.

Just wanted to have a place here to celebrate :) :sexywink:

When a man loves a woman,
Can't keep his mind on nothin' else,
He'd change the world for the good thing he's found.
If she is bad, he can't see it,
She can do no wrong,
Turn his back on his best friend if he put her down.

When a man loves a woman,
He'll spend his very last dime
Tryin' to hold on to what he needs.
He'd give up all his comforts
And sleep out in the rain,
If she said that's the way
It ought to be.

Well, this man loves you, woman.
I gave you everything I have,
Tryin' to hold on to your heartless love.
Baby, please don't treat me bad.
When a man loves a woman,
Down deep in his soul,
She can bring him such misery.

If she is playin' him for a fool,
He's the last one to know.
Lovin' eyes can never see.
When a man loves a woman
He can do her no wrong,
He can never want
Some other girl.

Yes,When a man loves a woman
I know exactly how he feels,
'Cause baby, baby, you're my world
When a man loves a woman....

Bravo for turning what could've been a messy thread into something worthwhile.

I say it's misogyny and the attitude many men have that they are owed women and women exist to please them. This can be either very conscious or subconscious thinking. Another problem is men and women bash each other's differences rather celebrate or shrug them off.

Come to think of it, this echoes the feminist thread

You're back now at the jack-off hour this is DJ, Eazy Dick
On W-Balls, right now, somethin new, by Snoop Doggy Dogg
And this one goes out to the ladies, from all the guys
A big bow wow wow, cuz we gonna make it a little mystery
here tonight, this is DJ Eazy Dick, on the station that
slaps you across your fat ass, with a fat dick

[Verse One: Nate Dogg]

When I met you last night baby
Before you opened up your gap
I had respect for ya lady
But now I take it all back
Cause you gave me all your pussy
And ya even licked my balls
Leave your number on the cabinet
And I promise baby, I'll give ya a call
Next time I'm feelin kinda horny
You can come on over, and I'll break you off
And if you can't fuck, that day, baby
Just lay back, and open your mouth
Cause I have never
met a girl
That I love
in the whole wide world

[Verse Two: Kurupt]

Well, if Kurupt gave a fuck about a bitch I'd always be broke
I'd never have no motherfuckin indo to smoke
I gets loced and looney, bitch you can't Do Me
Do we like BBD, you hoochie groupie?
I have no love for hoes
That's somethin I learned in the pound
so how the fuck am I supposed
to pay this hoe, just to lay this hoe
I know the pussy's mines, I'ma fuck a couple more times
And then I'm through with it, there's nothing else to do with it
Pass it to the homie, now you hit it
Cause she ain't nuthin but a bitch to me
And y'all know, that bitches ain't shit to me
i gives a fuck, why don't y'all pay attention
Approach it with a different proposition, I'm Kurupt
Hoe you'll never be my only one, trick ass beeeitch!

[Chorus: (repeat 4X)]

It ain't no fun, if the homies can't have none

[Verse Three: Snoop Doggy Dogg]

Guess who back in the motherfuckin house
With a fat dick for your motherfuckin mouth
Hoes recognize, niggaz do too
Cuz when bitches get skanless and pull a voodoo
What you gon do? You really don't know
So I'd advise you not to trust that hoe
Silly of me to fall in love with a bitch
Knowin damn well, I'm too caught up with my grip
Now as the sun rotates and my game grows bigger
How many bitches wanna fuck this nigga named Snoop
Doggy, I'm all the above
I'm too swift on my toes to get caught up with you hoes
But see, it ain't no fun, if my homies can't get a taste of it
Cause you know I don't love em

[Verse Four: Warren G]

Whoa!
Hey, now ya know, inhale, exhale with my flow
One for the money, two for the btiches
Three to get ready, and four to hit the switches
In my Chevy, six-fo' Rad to be exact
With bitches on my side, and bitches on back
So back up bitch cuz i'm strugglin, so get
off your knees and then start jugglin
these motherfuckin nuts in your mouth
It's me, Warren G the nigga with the clout
Whoo!

i would think there are big challenges to being straight. there are aspects of heterosexuality that i do not envy.

i think there was a poster in here who used to write about the difficulties of being heterosexual especially when you're ugly and repulsive to women.

his name was Joe something?

total sweetheart.

Yes, I remember him. He had some esteem issues to say the least. I recall people growing tired of his pity parties.

Hey, uh ... you guys? I have something to say.

I'm straight.

*whew* That was really hard to get out.

are you, like, straight in public, or just in your house?

i don't care what you do behind closed doors, but i don't want my children to have to see things i'm not prepared to explain to them.

Agreed. There are some challenges, not least of which is that both gays and women have a tradition of being able to talk about things and examine the culture around them, but straights in general and straight men in particular don't . This little thing appeared in my FB feed today. The blog often has interesting stuff. 4 Ways Sexist, Macho Culture Hurts Men | Role Reboot

And by the way, I do want to take a moment to celebrate straight men. I like them quite a lot. :shifty:
