Oh, silly Mike, what are you doing in here? Too much humor, not enough regurgitation. Sorry but you'll have to leave, or suffer being ignored.

There's nothing funny about DEATH PANELS. Nothing. Unless we're killing, like, poor people. Or illegals. That's funny.

How do you kill someone with a panel?
Do you drop it on them?

Maybe if we personalized it more, with facebook or something. Something that goes deeper than interference?

Facebook and twitter are some of the reasons why people aren't posting as much.

There are only so many hours in the day to piss away.

I can't believe some people spend so much time analyzing and thinking about it That's a sort of parody too.

would a deeper personal knowledge of each other, allow for more sensible conversations? Or just breed more contempt?

No, I really don't think it would allow more sensible conversations. Also, perhaps I'm paranoid, but what if personal attacks carry over to Facebook? I mean, if we're supposed to know the real names of people, someone with emotional problems could easily write on someone's wall something nasty in relations to a FYM topic.

ETA: Besides, I've had discussions with people face-to-face that led to nasty remarks, so having a Facebook page for FYM wouldn't calm anything down.

I think I heard that Facebook is a socialist plot.
