Take the Quiz here: The Political Compass - Test

I'm always a couple blocks down and about five blocks to the left of you on this test. :)

I managed to find the result from the last time I took this quiz, rather than take it again, although it'd probably be slightly different.

Economic Left/Right: -6.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.77

Hadn't taken it in a while. These are fun but on some questions I find myself saying "agree and disagree".

Where is the old thread, SP?
I'd like to see my old score (if I even posted it).

Economic Left/Right: -4.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.03

Deep, .... wow. Really? That authoritarian?
hmm... I guess you would be considered a "neo-con" then?

It seems like you are the opposite of most people on here. Not insulting your views but its interesting to see a totally different perspective. :hmm:

I cheated (I went for the most extreme answer)

this is the 3rd or 4th time that has been on here since 2002, when I signed up.

i am always in the green, 85% of the people in here are.

oh haha. I was surprised anyone would be in the "facist" zone....

I just joined this year (and already addicted to blue crack) so sorry if this has been posted before :reject:, but people's views change over time though so its interesting to see where everyone stands.

people should take the test now

those of us who have taken it before can see if we have modified our views by reading all these great arguments in FYM

here are the prior FYM threads I could find concerning this specific test.

awesome. Thanks! This should be interesting to see if there are any changes just based on the recent election and recent concerns in the country.:hmm:

I think the survey focus's way to much on social and domestic issues.

hmm according to this it seems most people on here have similar views (in the green area :hi5: )

My friends and I actually recently started a blog about liberal politics
I invite people who disagree with our views and agree with them to check it out.

Progressive Society Blog

and, in response to strongbow, i think it focuses on economic issues as well, but I agree that it is primarily dominated by social and domestic issues (which I think most people find more important to them than economic issues)

Mind you, this has a tendency to fluctuate wildly. I'm right about where I thought I'd be economically, but I thought I'd be slightly to the left socially instead of slightly to the right. Regardless, I'm definitely not a neoconservative... I guess I'm some combination of a liberal and a libertarian with a dash of neoconservativism and some philosophical leanings that are different than all three.
