So tell me, Senator McCain, these pork barrel spending bills:
Would you veto a bill supported by your VP? (here's looking at you, Bridge to Nowhere)
Would you veto a bill supported by your VP? (here's looking at you, Bridge to Nowhere)
seems like he's taking the exact opposite tone of Palin last night and is trying to be the old white Obama.
It's rather smart actually. Palin can say all the outrageous accusations, while McCain is the nice guy who respects Obama and his accomplishments.
He's certainly putting his own party under the microscope as much as the Democrats. Interesting.
Wow, he's really challenging him on health care? Really?
Give me a break.
which is why if he only he had won the GOP nomination 8 years ago we'd be in such a better position today.
I thought the Republicans were all about putting a bureaucrat between a doctor and a woman's choice to do what she wants with her body, not the republicans. I am so confused by this message.
Anyone else would have done better these past 8 years.
and the crazy guy on 30th and 8th who smells like pee.
i'm basically totally fine with this speech.
Honestly, I'm not that impressed by him, at all. Obviously, I disagree with him on everything, so I'm certainly not going to be salivating over it, but, he can't try to turn back into the John McCain of yesteryear overnight without anyone noticing. It just seems like a political ploy to try to galvanize independents, which weren't coming on board because of Palin. He can't seem to make up his mind of who he's going to pander to.
