Interesting. The comment section made me remember studies on psychopaths. They are they way they are because their brain are not developed. Apparently, this is the part that is not, hence their lack of empathy.
But it makes you wonder how some who originally are capable of empathy are then brainwashed or something, and lose their empathy. Like anyone with Stockholm's Syndrome, or someone raised with good sense of right and wrong, yet becomes a Wall Street psychopath. Sounds like other areas of the brain, and parts of personality kick in and the lateral frontal loses its influence.
Nevermind me, I just like psychology and analyze why people do what they do.
