But this I just don't get. The one time in life you just shouldn't be a Republican is in college, but then to be gay on top of that... I feel sorry for them 99% of their party things they are wrong and wants to deny them rights...

Yeah I doubt this as well, if I remember right there was a very small group of conservative women that spoke up because of her child with special needs and thought a VP couldn't do both jobs, I don't remember any typical feminist groups.

I thought it was an innocuous word?

What do you call a tyrannical male boss?

But there is always an implication that it's women who are jealous of her. And I don't know how you've come to conclude what rubbed women the wrong way, either. Every woman I know was offended by the idea of Palin being a heartbeat away from the presidency and NONE of them were offended because she was a) accomplished or b) good looking. In fact, that never even entered the conversation.

I was offended by the Republicans' assumption that I'd vote for a girl just because she was a girl.

this broad point might hold water for certain individuals, but you really haven't proved the point that "feminists" went after Palin for running for office.

well as you see by the insinuation that because the view thinks it was bad, all females think it's bad, that certain republicans think all vaginas are the same.

at least they believe in equality in some ways, i suppose
