Larry Miller was always a relative conservative, but he admits now that he has no idea about politics anymore. But, he was never a "right-wing" comedian.

I have always liked him as a comedian and an actor. He has a great, dry, observational wit.

Yes, he's got a new show on Comedy Central starting next week. He just had a special on last weekend, and it was hysterical.

Bill tended to use a bit of hyperbole.

I think that Jon Stewart, as Glenn Beck, was funnier than Beck will ever be. Last night's parody of him was eerily dead-on. And hilarious.

Do you want Charles Manson telling you what you can and can't watch on TV?

The following is humor to me because many on the left have never listened or understood Bob Dylan.

-Please post one anti-war protest Dylan ever attended.

-Please post one anti-American quote by Dylan

-He says Shane is one of his favorite films.

-In his autobiography he states that Barry Goldwater was his
favorite political person of the 1960s

-He also states in the his AB, that he bought firearms to protect his family at his home in Woodstock from crazed hippies.

The left's total misunderstanding of Dylan....

That's all funny to me

Agreed here. He seems quite traditional, some would say reactionary.

Not quite sure what it has to do with the thread, however.

Dylan's actions and viewpoints have certainly been exaggerated to a great extent throughout the years, but you're hardly someone who should accuse anyone else of misunderstanding things.

Jim Norton

Or just watch FNC's Red Eye. That's way more edgy and rebellious than Stewart, Maher, and the rest could ever hope to be.

Oh yah, this is real solid comedy right here folks.

Makes Dennis Miller look like an intellectual.

_________

Adam Carolla has become a comedic fav of mine, mostly due to his ability to go on improvised social commentary rants when set off by idiotic radio callers. He is definitely not liberal, has a lot of right leaning views, but skews more libertarian.

I love AC. I'm seeing him live on April 28. I've always thought he is more Libertarian than anything, but a thinking Libertarian. His rant is not anti-government in the least.
He definitely thought government had a role in people's lives when he was doing LoveLines.

ehhhh...I don't know that the Corolla video above is showcasing a great argument. Some fairly impoverished views, actually, I would say
