I fail to see the appeal of Fiji water really, it seems to be more of a status symbol.

I mean come on, water is barely distinguishable between brands.


A note to y'all Brita people, dont leave your water in the jug (or whatever) for long periods, since it filters out the chlorine that stops bacteria growing. You don't wanna be sipping bacteria soup.

Well it'd slow it, but mold and stuff still grows in the fridge. Just dont keep it there for ages and clean and disinfect the jug often. Should be ok.

I'll take my chances. I used Brita for years before my foray into bottled water, and didn't disinfect the jug, just gave it a quick washing out when I change the filter every few months (although it's very likely that there were times I forgot even that) and we're just fine. I easily go through more than a jug a day when I'm on my own anyway, several when my daughter is home, so it rarely sits in the fridge for any length of time.
