Limerence - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I saw movie 1984 "falling in love" and somewhere there was a suggestion that it was an example of limerence.

So what exactly is limerence? obsession or infatuation or love ?

Is limerence platonic ? Did the lead actors in that movie had a platonic love?

"David Brooks defines limerence as a potentially positive, unifying, transformative encounter with the divine, or oneness of mankind"

So is this a spiritual thing?

Is it good? Is it bad? Is it real? Is it abnormal behavior?

So, from what I gather, this is limerence?
