HOUSTON (Reuters) - A grand jury in South Texas indicted U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and former attorney General Alberto Gonzales on Tuesday for "organized criminal activity" related to alleged abuse of inmates in private prisons.

I heard it's a state matter (as opposed to a State matter), and so, no presidential pardons, it would seem.

On the other hand, I'm sure it could fall over for other reasons. All sorts of reasons.

nothing to atone for here. nothing at all.

the only thing that VP Cheney is guilty of is maybe loving us all a little bit too much.
