because the more you insist on one version of reality, one that is more easy to digest, you begin to believe it.

That fits. The controllers behind these organisations such as the Tea Party (and in my view, it's probably the corporatist right) want carefully compliant drones.

There seem to be an awful lot of angry white people in America these days. Campaigns such as the Tea Party serve a useful purpose for the elite, which is to distract the angry white masses from the recession and the endless, pointless, unwinnable GWOT.

But it reminds some of us that this is all just meant to distract and divide us. Get us to direct our anger at each other rather than Washington.

But shouldn't we be discussing the racism that DOES exist?
But shouldn't we be discussing the real problems and challenges that face this country? The one's the Tea Party are highlighting (in between lynchings of course).

The real problems and challenges that face this country can't be discussed by flinging half-assed buzzwords like "socialism" around ... which is basically the only function of the Tea Party.

Racism is not one of those problems?

Which problems are those, the yelling for tax cuts but wanting to spend billions on a wall to keep the brownies out?

Yelling that Obama unconstitutionally extracted money from BP(falsely so) while asking for no regulations?

Or is it the problem of blaming the healthcare bill of being "collective", having death panels, and denying healthcare all the while not knowing their private insurance is doing this very thing along with keeping a huge population of our society uninsured?

Or Tea Paty members are racist. same concept isn't it? Except one is true, the other isn't. Up to the individual to decide. I know which is true.

question. Why will you have to fill out a 1099 tax for for any purchase over 690.00 as required in the healthcare bill. ? What does a plane ticket have to do with healthcare? Or a camera? Or a bike?

None of those are required for healthcare, so why is it in the healthcare bill? It's in there, read it.

What? No. You're missing my point entirely.

There would be no Tea Party without buzzwords and slogans, because there's no substance to the Tea Party.

What am I saying about racism here? Nothing.

Amazes me how many are swallowing it, hook, line and sinker.

The Germans, to this day, still have a hard time discussing how they were so swept in. How they fell for it.

You know, I have been saying the same thing for months. So many angry people. Where do they all come from.

Please tell, who are the controllers of the Tea Party? General Electric?

We have a thread for this.

Can you highlight this portion for me, I don't remember seeing this.

I thought there was little to nothing in there? Which is it?

not what I meant sorry about that ... you say what I do mean. You are right . There really isn't any substance, nor structure to the Tea Party . It is a bunch of Farmers, grandmothers, neighbors, veterans , normal, everyday people who are tired of Government for the sake of the Government , not the people. That is really it, but there is a reason they are trying really hard to create a perception of these people that does not exist.

Why are they so afraid of them? I say they are not. They need people to be afraid of them. I do admit i was a little frightened at the villages when we walked around the wall, and the wheelchair brigade went crazy, yelling MOVE . They were dangerous in the fact that those golfcarts go fast, but that's it.

They need someone to go crazy and do something, but it won't be the beck people, or the tea party. They are going to have to create it themselves.

I want to find a video , it is very telling what is going on with the tea party. The stories of whacky right wing people is a storyline.

Once again, I've got no idea what the hell you're talking about.

My point, aside from the literal nonsense above, is this:

The Tea Party is composed of people who listened to people on television say, "Your president told you that things would be great right away. They're not. Instead, PROGRESSIVISM. SOCIALISM. BIG GOVERNMENT. Come, protest these buzzwords." That's basically everything the Tea Party is. I haven't seen any substance beyond that.
