This kind of makes me want to put a webcam on a McDonald's hamburger, a Twinkie and a Slim Jim and let the world see which spoils first.

Again,

Those fries were REALLY good before McDonalds bowed to the Food Police.

The steakhouse XT fucking rules. I get that every time. The salads are decent too, because you put them together yourself.

Honestly, all this article does is make me less concerned about McDonald's workers leaving my food out for hours upon hours, which I know they do anyway. I wouldn't eat their flimsy, sole-esque burgers regardless, but I don't mind the chicken sandwiches. They're alright.

i would love it if there is a person out there who genuinely says that they don't eat at McDonalds because they heard a good song in there once. or something like that.

I gotta admit I've had food petrify (without rotting or growing mold) before.

Not whole meals, mind you, but slices bread, pieces of cake, chunks of various and sundry food, etc. It just kind of dries out.

Wendy's has good burgers and some okay food, but the roaches in my local one kind of turn me off.

I can only eat it at home since that's where my car is. The only fat food place I can get to here is McDonald's, which sucks because they're just OK.

That is pretty gross. Food that never goes bad. What chemicals are they using to preserve it?

Again,
Let us know what you discover.

I don't eat any of that stuff. Seriously, I hate fast food. It made me sick.

Well, there's no f-n way I'm going to have that crap in my house, and since winter is coming, there is no point in doing it in my unheated garage. Someone remind me in spring.

BTW--I forgot about this. There is a great coffee shop by me that sells sandwiches. Occasionally, I get one for lunch. With the sandwich, they give you a little bag of Chex Mix. Usually, I don't eat that anymore, but every so often, my wife and I will split one. Anyway, we were eating outside, and I dropped a Chex cereal square on the ground. I thought I would watch the ants come and take it, but they wouldn't touch it. Normally when eating outside, I can drop some bread or lettuce or tomato or especially a slice of orange or melon, and the ants swarm it. Chex Mix with partially-hydrogenated oil (and I think a little MSG), the ants don't want. (It could be the loads of salt, too, but I doubt it.)

Wow, that is interesting. Ants usually love any kind of food they can get. Thanks for the tip! Now, I know why chex mix gives me heartburn. My stomach can't tolerate the MSG.

Yeah, it's kind of sobering to think about continuing to eat something that a bug won't.
