Not surprising. They've been predicting this for awhile. I don't know a lot about him, but from what I've heard he could do a good job.

Speaking as a person on the very youngest edge of the baby boom, I can only say "Thank God!"

No, he really wasn't. They weren't celebrating in the streets when GWB won. May the phenomenom that was GWB/Cheney never again happen to the US.

All the baby boomers I know - which is a LOT - voted for Obama and have always been for gay equality.

DC was amazing last night. i've never seen anything like it.

thousands of people stood outside the white house, and it was often sung, "nah-nah-nah-nah, way-aye-hey, GOOD BYE!"

Most of us were doing this in 2000 and this in 2004.

i'm just talking about the generational fixation over the lines that were drawn up in 1968 over Vietnam. it's dominated politics since then, and i'm glad we're going to move into an era where it's much less us vs. them. to me, that's what Obama's candidacy has been about from the beginning.

I would have loved to have been in Grant Park or D.C. last night. Those were the real happiest places on earth. There was an awesome sign they showed on CNN from one of the Georgetown students that said "Why Wait? Evict Bush now!"

You´re not the only one - Bush Sr. and Dick Cheney think so too.

Who´s gonna miss Bush except of you? Not so many folks.. oh wait, he will be missed by Shell, Exxon, Honeywell and Lockheed Martin!

being an american, I was truly embarrassed to have Bush as president, having lived thru all his fuck ups. He was one of the worse presidents ever that I can remember. And I think most of america can agree just look at his approval rating, hardly the best president.
