So .... President Obama, eh? Has a nice ring to it.

you'll notice, too, just how civilized and calm and respectful the thread was in the beginning.

None of this matters, at the end of the day, when Strongbow's head hits his pillow, Barack Obama will still be his President in just a few short months.

What annoys me about this kind of nonsense is that it feeds into stereotypes about conservatives being unintelligent bigots, etc.

Basically, moderate conservatives like me end up carrying the can for liars, propagandists and complete bullshit artists such as you.

It's because of people like you that it's so hard to get the conservative perspective allotted a fair hearing on here.

Tosser.

If you're going to argue what a "tsunami" is ... whatever. I think it's a blow out.

Well, *I* still have a soft spot for moderate conservatives. I hope the Republican party can sort themselves out. I'll be happy to see an intelligent Republican in the White House in the near future.

This is the first time I've ever given money to a candidate, the first time I've ever gotten a bumper sticker or a yard sign, the first time I've ever volunteered for a campaign . . . basically the first time I've cared enough to do anything other than vote.

It feels great to be a part of history and I hope the potential of this moment is able to go forward. I know it's not going to be easy and it would be so much better if both sides are able to work together.

I have no problem with conservatives, I respect them, even though I may disagree over the issues. What I have a problem with is when people do not show the same respect to me.

Demonizing the other side, calling them "young and dumb" or "part of the mindless herd" as I've read on a friend's blog, is not helping.

I think the Bush presidency has been awful, but I do not think people who voted for Bush are awful. I just disagree with their choice.

He added the later. He has used that essential statement before and I simply responded to it in the same manner.

That little thing we called an election would argue that point.
