Zoom G1

Hi. Just brought a Zoom G1 effects unit and found a few edge type sounds, but not quite on the money. Obviously, I know i'm hardly gonna sound exactly like him with just a few cheap bits of kit, but does anyone have any presets they have made and used on the G1 to good effect? Thanks....!

yeah, i have zoom g1 and it's very good to play until the end of the world, where the streets have no name, bad...

It depends what your requirements are. I have a Zoom G1 and at present, I still only play at home, so I'm happy enough with it. If and when I start gigging, I wouldn't use it alone, indeed I already use it alongside a pedal board. This is mainly because I'm not happy with some of the distortion sounds on it. The clean sounds and delay sounds and other quite specialist options on it though are pretty darn good. Plus you have the 2.1 which is better than mine anyway. So to sum up, it should keep you well entertained, even though the odd sound on it sounds a bit manufactured. But if you get into serious gigging etc you may want to upgrade...
