Yo. What song are you playing right now?

In an attempt to revitalize this forum, I've stolen from another.

Just finished playing some riffs:

Pinball Wizard- The Who (main rhythm part)
Black Dog- Led Zeppelin
Livin' Lovin' Maid- Led Zeppelin
The Ocean- Led Zeppelin
Moby Dick- Led Zeppelin
Over the Hills and Far Away- Led Zeppelin
Stairway to Heaven- Led Zeppelin
Getaway- The Music
Take the Long Road and Walk It- The Music

... and a few things I wrote.

Still figuring out Since I've Been Loving You.

I just learned the riff of "I Ran" from Flock of Seagulls. Its a nice tune with awesome use of delay.

Would that other forum be the even more sleepy tres chords forum? Just curious, because it seems the moderators could merge these two into one forum.

I've been playing the following lately:

Ripple, Grateful Dead
Jack Straw, Dead
Say Goodbye, Dave Matthews
Stay (acoustic), U2
Strange Condition, Pete Yorn
7 Holes, John Doe

I gotta get me an electric guitar one of these days.

Yes, an electric is a necessity. Despite what the puritanical acoustics say...

Just figured out some bridge-work in my latest song. It's coming along well.

Also:

True Love Waits- Radiohead
Immigrant Song- Led Zeppelin
Too High- The Music
Mothers of the Disappeared (attempting to tab an alternate version... sounds interesting).

That's the song that finally got me up off my ass and motivated to learn how to play the guitar. I still play it frequently but it does sound a bit thin on an acoustic.

It depends what type of strings you have for In A Little While. In my opinion, it is best played on a steel-string acoustic... but then again, so are most things.

Rebel, Rebel- David Bowie

An interesting new rhythm part for my song. Actually I just spent the last three hours playing/writing new material.

Good times

All I play is steel string acoustic. I probably just got spoiled from playing a friends Casino. Elixers help too, easier to slide.
