What guitar does edge play in unknown caller?

True, there is probably more than one guitar on the song. That can be true for most songs. Then it comes down to which one will have the essence of what Edge needs to play it live.

One example is "Angel of Harlem". On Rattle and Hum and the Love Town tour, Edge used his 1967 Rickenbacker 330 12/string. But after that, for electric performances, it's mostly been a LP Custom (Explorer at closing night in Hawaii - Dec 2006)

This might be why he's using the Country Gent on "Magnificent", even though it appears that he cut some of it with the tobacco Telecaster, judging from the U2.com "Edge puts it down" clip.

yeah it does depend on what he needs. ie. say he is going for a trebly sound he may go with the tele. (not being more leniant toward telecasters)

these are all really intersting thoughts and I agree with them... I was especially having thoughts of the tele during the solo.

At first, i was thinking it could be an lp. but upon further listens, it sounds much more to me like the epiphone casino. sounds like p-90's to me

and there is two guitar lines playing the same thing during the chorus, which is why it sounds so full, but not delay ridden.

I'm about 90% sure it's his Casino too. Sounds very much like the tone from the live studio take of Crumbs from the HTDAAB bonus DVD.
