what compressor its better mxr dyna comp or cs3?

I wnat to buy a compressor and I don´t know wich is better for the edge tone. can you help me

I hear Edge uses both, although the Dynacomp seems to be the one he uses most.

well he is actually using a Boss CS-2
Compressor in his rig (Vertigo tour)
but he did use a CS-3 at jazzfest
on his mini pedal board

the dyna comp was in his rig for years
going back to Gatehead July 31, 1982

ive never owned a boss CS-2 but i did have
a CS-3 it was ok but id go with a older dyna
compressor 80s or earlier for edge stuff

so to answer your Question:
what compressor its better mxr dyna comp or cs3?

The CS-3 is crap. The CS-2 is far better.

If you are going for an MXR, the reissues are not so great... the vintage script logo versions are better.

Or you could just get yourself a Monte Allums kit for the CS-3 and/or Dynacomp reissue, do some soldering and get a kickass vintage sound from a new pedal.

So far from what Ive heard and tried the best compressor out there is the Ross Compressor.Its no longer made but there are countless clones of it available. I ordered myself some parts and made my own clone. It sounds great!
