The general tab is correct, but in the live version Edge adds a note or two, cant tell if its an open note or not. wondering if anyon knows?

i think its the open g-string throughout the solo. he also adds a big open A-string during the 2nd half of the solo

A lot of Edge solos are based on one string with an open string somewheres. They sound so hard but they are so easy.

Keep in mind Edge plays with a capo on the 3rd fret on this song live.

It's is awesome with capo on 3rd fret and i think that Edge plays powerchords right at the beggning after the guitar screaming sound thingy

its not that bad, the delay adds alot to the solo.

I don't have the tab with me right now... but it's not that hard. Listen to the song and play along. It's all on the last 2 strings, B and e. Start out on 13 and listen to the song to play along. It's easier to learn solos without a tab I think

This part is very fast- Strike 8 and then 7 quickly and then do the pull offs and the hammer ons without restriking. . .

This is how i play it, i think its pretty close, and i add a couple notes too.

on B:

You can throw in some base notes pretty much where ever you want too, A works well. Also, double the first note of the first two lines with the G string. And you can double the E's that finish lines with the E string where you see fit. the hammers and pulls in the second part are fast-listen to the song tand you should get the rhythm. Awesome song, even better solo. Enjoy!
