Just want to make notice to all the people that work so hard in
dupicating the the sounds of U2. It takes a lot of time and passion
and love for the music to do it right. It really bothers me to see
this U2 Tribute band really decieve the public and tear down other
U2 tribute bands for their own gain. Its a downright insult. There
is no loyalty. I am friends with most of the U2 tribute bands around
the world and we all have respect for each other. Its a common
disease to see people tell you straight to your face that everything
is OK we wont take anything from you and you dont have to worry..
thank you very much..and then go and do the opposite when your not
looking. Computer cowards, phonys, not real people, no respect.....
countless........ Oh and it happends to you when you think the
people that are close to you do it..........you know who you are.

I know for I have been in U2 Tributes since the early 90s its about
the music not if you look like Bono........beside I wouldnt trade my
height of 6'3" for 5'6" anyday. Well to get to the point here
everybody knows how much time is spent in playing and duplicating
the sounds of U2.

It angers me to see this band try to record the song "Pride" with
entry level sounds and RIP OFF THE CHORUS FROM U2 AND SPLICE IT IN.

Just check it out go to pride in the audio section

that does sound tacky, however having said that i'm not the hugest fan of tribute bands in general, but that is reallllly bad

My guitar player sent me that link last week and I fell out of my chair laughing. That takes either a lot of balls, or none whatsoever. I'm not sure which. I'm not clear on your history with these guys Mullenhead... is this why you left them? On second thought, no need to answer. You shouldn't have to air out your ex band dirty laundry. You're clearly in it for the right reasons and I hope you find some like minded musicians soon. Best wishes.

Thanks skott. Yeah, way too much dirty laundry to air on this forum. As I said in another thread, those guys are in it for the wrong reasons, no love and respect for U2, pretty sad. I will prevail with the right people soon. :|
