The Edge and Gibson 335

I've not seen Edge use a Gibson 335 much.

He used one at the 2011 Clinton Foundation show ('One'). There is also video of him using one of r'One Tree Hill' and 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' during the JT tour.

It would be cool to see him use it more. 335's are great guitars.

does he use semi hollows these days, though? Like he's used fully hollow body guitars like Casino or Grestch Falcons a lot in the songs you mentioned.

Wait, Country Gent. was semi-hollow, isn't it?

Rickenbacker are semi-hollow. I thought the Falcons and Gents are too. I'd have to consult my guitar books to be slcertain.

I think Falcons are Country Gent. are actually hollow. The country gent. doesn't have f holes so it's hollow but closed so it would not feed back as much. Falcons have f holes, though. I don't know their exact construction but Gretsch website says they're totally hollow. They have now separate line of instruments with center blocks.

Also, in that vid, Edge is probably playing ES330 rather than 335. or am i wrong?
