A
Tough
A/G
You think you've got the stuff
A/F# Dmaj7
You're telling me and anyone
A
You're hard enough

A
You don't have to put up a fight
A/G
Don't always have to be right
A/F# Dmaj7
Let me take some of the punches
A
For you tonight

D A
Listen to me now
Dmaj7
I need to let you know
D
You don't have to go it alone

A E
And it's you when I look in the mirror
D
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

A A/G
We fight all the time
A/F#
You and I
Dmaj7
That's alright
A
We're the same soul

A
I don't need
A/G
Don't need to hear you say
A/F# Dmaj7
That if we weren't so alike
A
You'd like me a whole lot more

D A
Listen to me now
Dmaj7
I need to let you know
D
You don't have to go it alone

A E
And it's you when I look in the mirror
D
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

F C Dm
I know that we don't talk
F C Am
I'm sick of it all
F C Dm
Can you hear me when I
A
Sing
D
You're the reason I sing
E A
You're the reason why the opera's in me
D
Hey now
A
Still got to let you know
D
A house doesn't make a home
E
Don't leave me here alone

A E
And it's you when I look in the mirror
D
And it's you that makes it hard to let go
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own
A E
Sometimes you can't make it
D
Best you can do is to fake it
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

End on A

Chorus is F# to E not A to E ends with E to D

A few other things aren't quite right in that tab, but it can be fudged.

Here's another one I found, but after seeing the tab from guitar universe I don't know which one is more accurate, although both sound pretty good, except for that 24th on the chorus.

I think that those acoustic tabs I posted are quite good for that version, but y'know -- they've got 2 guitars when they played it

Well I looked at your tabs, and I've (attempted) tabbing the couch mix, and i'm just interested in edges part, and it looks nothing like it. hm.

yes i know... but it's fine for me - it reminds me the original more than Acoustic Couch
If you tab the Couch mix, I would be first in line to play it

Hahah the couch mix...it looks like he plays chords I can actually play without cramping my hand up, thats why I want it....meh, it's spring break, I'll see if I can work on it. Or if I find it somewhere else, I'll post it here.
