Running to Stand Still

hi i was wondering if anyone could record them playing running to stand still chords as i'm struggling with it, the chords are very simple ( D, Gadd9) but i'm just stuck on the timing and the strumming pattern.

ive not played the song before - good song though.

Only trouble is, ill have to record it from my laptop mic - so it will sound pants, but i guess it might be usefull - if not, it will keep me amused for an hour or so

Just from listening to the song - its sounds like its mostly just a downward stroke with the occasional upstroke in it at the chord change. Sounds like a quick succesion of strums - but its not done everytime.

For the chorus - you might find it easier to go from the C to a barre G. rather than from C to Gadd9.

There isnt a great deal of strumming in it as such.
