Raleigh U2 Tribute Band Needs Members

I'm bass player seeking musicians in the Raleigh area to form a new U2 tribute band: u2.0

The ideal candidates should have the following traits:

Playing/Vocal style like U2
No Drugs.
Not a diva.
No ego (swagger, ok)
Live in the Raleigh area.
Conduct themselves professionally.
Previous band experience not necessary.
Be mature.
Have a day job.
Have a sense of humor.
Be willing to commit some time to rehearsals, gigs, etc.
Embody the spirit of U2.
Oh, and it goes without saying, a big U2 fan.

Seeing as how I doubt a girl lead would work for a U2 tribute band and I've got no professional experience, I'll refrain from offering you my services.

But as a resident of Wilmington, definately let me know when you start doing gigs in Raleigh or Wilmington so I can check you out & help lead the crowd in a spontaneous sing-a-long.

I'd be glad to do it. however I have no professional experience and live about an hour away. I do have a vast exspanse of u2 songs in my library of playing though. I play similar to the edge too.

OH MAN!! I always thought it would be cool to be in a U2 tribute band! But, I'm stuck in freaking Pennsylvania!! I'm coming for the Raleigh show and that's as close to you as I'm going to get. This is highly disappointing to me!! There isn't anything that I know of closer to me. I'm a drummer and I actually play like Larry too!
