you might want to get a Boss sd-1 and or a Boss os-2
they work great for giving your tone just a little dirt.
also a MXR dyna comp, what kind of amp are you using?

An e-bow is the cheapest way to do the sustained notes in With or Without You.

Korg A3 will help TONS for Achtung Baby and Zooropa era tunes. Not so much for Joshua Tree.

Boss SD-1 and OD-2 will help for overdrives. Brass slide for "Bullet...". I've heard that he used E-H Big Muff and Boss FA-1 for "Bullet...".

The POD XT should be able to get the above OD tones, for the most part.

I am not using an amp. Just M-Audio monitors.

I am saving up for the infamous AC30 CC2X...oh and if ever my wife asks, tell her they cost about $150.

You can get actual non-Chinese AC30s for the same (or less) than the CC2's with the blues in them.... I got my AC30/6 TB for $1250.

Probably overdrive I'd say. What kind of amp do you have?

i got a fender FM65R amp. Seriously good amp and you can get close to the edge tone but not as good as the vox.

Ok. I've never played one of those amps so I can't really say. You already have the delay and wah, so probably the next choice would be a Tubescreamer (doesn't Edge use one of those?), and maybe a compressor if you want to do slide work.
