Looking for advice about playing vertigo. Have seen all the tabs and watched some video's

Sliding a barre D/E chord up and down is a bugg** - I have the blisters to prove it. I use Elixer strings. Any tips on making strings more slippy ?????

did you try cleaning them? spray alittle wd40 on a paper towel use it to clean the strings. you'd be surprised at the gunk it takes off. you could try new strings too since edge always plays with brand new strings.

then again, you can always cheat: tune your guitar to drop D and play this:

D -12 14 ..... 7 6 5
A -12 14 ..... 7 6 5
E -12 14 ..... 7 6 5

for the 12/14 part dont slide; barr the 12 with you index finger then just hammer on the 14's with your ring finger. the way edge plays it sounds better because he's playing the g string and here you are not. so this way there is a little loss of treble.
