After hearing it a couple of times , I've made these chords out, if anyone can elaborate to this I'd appriciate it. Listen to it for the rythm.

The opening Piano Riff is:

A C#m
Everywhere you go you shout it

You don’t have to be shy about it

You steal right under my door
A F#m
And I kneel ‘cos I want you some more
C#m
I want you some more
E
I want you some more

A F#m C#m E

Damn html, the chords are all over the place, hope anyone interested gets the idea

This song gets better all the time! Yeah, the chords are everywhere, but it's worth it. Thanks, coach!

Right, I worked it out last night & this is to memory but I think I'm right.

A E
Baby Slow Down
F#m C#m
The end is not as far as the start
A E
Please Stay A Child
F#m C#m
Somewhere in your heart .... baby
G D A
I give you everything you want
G D A
Except the thing that you want
Cm D A
You are the first one of your kind
Then Run Into Chorus String: B C D E
A F#m
And You Feel... Like no one before
C#m E
You Steal..... Right under my door

Keep repeating chords for chorus.
For the middle 8 bit after 2nd chorus play G D A.

I haven't time to do the whole thing but that should set you up.

Thanx, mine was a bit off, jejejeje same thing B# and C ain't it? jejeje.

This sounds amazing on a piano, definatley for the ladies!!!! jejee
cheers!!!!

the intro chords are:

A E F#m C#m

just incase you wanted em. Nice chord changes. Nice song

The second one is better though not 100%. If you put grbound's correction in it's pretty close though.

I stopped studying music theory years ago but I seem to recall that B# does actually exist, for example in the key of C#major (which has a grand total of 7 sharps if I remember correctly), though equally for simple chord tabbing like this I agree it is far simpler to identify B# as C. Not that there is any need to in a song in the key of A, and anyway the reference to B#mi is mistaken, the chord is D.

I have a keyboard and I would love to figure out how to play this song. I am not much of a keyboard player tho, so any help would be appreciated!!!
Is can use this link below to learn if someone will tell me how

http://chordfind.com/keyboard/

A tip:
Just do this to get major chords:
(ex G) Start from the G note on your keyboard then the next tone is 4 steps further on (including the black keys) and then 3 steps ahead of the first 4...

To get Minor chords do this:
(ex Am) Start from the Am note on your keyboard then 3 steps ahead of that note is the next one, and then 4 steps more for the last note in that chord.

I guess you're like  right now since I'm not that good at explaining
It would be alot easier to have a keyboard and just show you...

Thanks The_Edge89
Uhmmmmm yeah it is a bit confusing but I am printing out this whole thread to try to figure it all out tonite :)
Ok so now my stupid question of the day...
is this whole thread for piano or just the opening riff is piano and then the rest is guitar? :reject:

With the latest update and grbound's correction it seems fine except for the "Everywhere go you shout it" bit. That seems a bit off.

This section (which I think can be described as the chorus) has an A F#m C#m E riff (one chord per bar) which is pretty much the same throughout except for the very last chorus when it does that riff three times and then does a little coda that might be written as:

A C#m D Bm, A C#m D C#m, A (this one is the last chord of the song). Again, that's one chord per bar.

I dont believe the C#m is right at the part 'you steal.....bla bla' it doesnt sound right to me on my keyboard, but im not good enough to figure out the right one i guess:huh: . any suggestions ??

I'd check the chord you're playing (which should be the third chrod of the chorus) really is C#m in that case because that's the chord. No doubt about it I'm afraid.

Could anyone please figure out what Edge is playing as the "lead" guitar part with the chorus/delay effect?

He plays it while Bono is singing:

"Everywhere you go you shout it,
you dont have to be shy about it, no"

Id really apprechiate your help!
Thanks!
