On what songs does Edge use the 'wah' pedal?

i don't think dunlop wahs do that, and even if it did, it's the shimmer sound going through the pedal, not the guitar sound.

Actually that is a Boss Volume pedal ( the one on the bottom)

The Fly. . . i tried watching the Vertigo DVD, couldn't tell which pedal he was using.



edit: i'm watching the Dublin 3 DVD, and it looks like Edge is using that outside volume pedal for wah. but how does he do it??

Maybe he re-wired the whole pedal and added a switch that he could hit on the volume pedal and switch it to a wah...

ok, here's my theory. it's a Boss expression pedal like you said. there are two cables coming out of it. the pedal has 2 outputs, i'm guessing. one output is volume control for the Eventide, and the other output is wah control for maybe the A3, or the Pod, or whatever Edge uses for wah.

It is just a simple expression pedal. An expression pedal and be set to control and parameter via midi CC. Since Edge does not use a Wah on any songs when there is shimmer, he is able to use it for both. I run the same set up.
