Hey guys, instead of working on my thesis I thought it would be wise to procrastinate by working out the Chords for this new song. At first I wasn’t sure if I loved it, but the more I play along I’m finding that it's a gem of a song. If your unsure about any of the chords, this site can be very useful: Guitar Chords @ Chordbook.Com
Thanks to dan_smee for the lyrics.

Note: Play all as power Chords except for Em during the bridge and the E at the end of the bridge, just play Open Chords here.

After hearing the bootleg from Torin, this easily sounds like a wedding song to me now, for some reason! I could picture someone strumming this while watching their friend walk down the aisle.

Thanks for the tab!

Very cringeworthy

i'm totally going to sound like a douche here, but what exactly is the E/B chord?

Its really an E, but used to differentiate from the common Major Open E played.

ie:

E---0
B---0
G---1
D---2
A---2
E---1

E/B is like this. Think it has something to do with the root note in the chord, but dont hold me to that:

E---7
B---9
G---9
D---9
A---7
E---x

Very cringeworthy

Sad.. but oh so true.
its becoming more cringeworthy on each listen....

That first one isn't an E. The low E string should be open.

That second one is a barre E, not an E/B chord.

Oh! Thanks PhilsFan. Silly typo on my end on the first one.

Thanks for claryfying the barre E. E/B is just what the computer spat out as the chord name online when I punched in the finger position. I just worked it out by ear. Should probably know better that its a barre E. :reject:

^If you played the 7th fret on the low E (B note), then that would be E/B

As you say above, the /B refers to the B being the root note. It's basically saying it is an E chord with a bass note B. just like D/C#:

e-2
b-3
g-2
d-x
a-4
e-x

is a D chord with a C# root note, often played as a passing chord between D and C or Am
