Thought I'd have a go at this one. I used my AC4 and used the M13 for all effects.
Intro/Verse/Bridge was: Fuzz Pi (Big Muff Pi) and 63 Spring Rvb
Chorus/Outro: 63 Spring Rvb, Dig Delay w Mod, and Screamer. Also instead of 63 Spring for the outro I used the Octo verb for the shimmer.
Also I added a touch of reverb, compression, and EQ from Garageband to clean it all up. Not exactly brilliant but I enjoy it. I also overdubbed a second guitar that I panned right that would be Bono's guitar. I just plugged my Telecaster straight into an M Audio Fast Track Pro and chose the electric guitar track in Garageband. I chose to model a Vox AC30 and used the yellow overdrive pedal for that dirty tone (Garageband users you probably know what I'm talking about ).
I also totally understand if the video effect is a bit much. I wanted something different so I used that. Ok enough talking.
