This might be a stupid question but in this video around the 3.39 mark the edge pulls his slide out from behind the headstock. How does he keep it back there?

He has a little holder made onto the back of the headstock. He has one on his Fireglo Rickenbacker (as can be seen in 360 performances of 'Real Thing') and he has one on his Mapleglo Ric. Not sure if he has one on his Jetglo (black) Ric (I'm not even sure if he still has the Jetglo Ric ). Anyway that's how he takes his slide from behind the headstock.
