looking to start a band in NYC

i play guitar, mess around w/keys, and am in graduate school studying music technology.

i want to start a great original band with the sensitivity, passion, and melodic sense of U2, but also incorporate some straight up rock grooves as well as other influences.

forgot to mention that i have lots of ideas that just need fleshing out to make them into "songs."

also use a lot of guitars and a wide palette of sounds to get tones from chuck berry to the beatles to van halen to U2, zep, floyd, stp, etc...
