I made a version of this song, I just used the guitar chords and played slight variations with them. It sounded okay, but didn't sound exactly like the album.
It wouldnt be too hard to play it like the album, I never really tried. I just play in standard tuning.
I actually played the live guitar bit from ZooTv, so I wasn't really going for a complete duplication, just playing around with it for fun, anyways.
in some form or fashion it's D and G with an A in the chorus, although on the album, I think it's tuned down, so that would be C#, F# and G# in the chorus if you want the exact sound.
I may not be totally accurate just trying to help from top-of-the-head memory.
