This will be a sort of library that will display various U2 songs, and what effects, settings, etc. are used on them. Instead of editing the main post, I will post updates. Could mods pin this topic, since it's kinda impotant? ;)

if there is anything else that should be added to that format, please tell. If there's something you don't know, just leave it blank , that'll make it easier for me :wink:

btw, I'm somewhat of a noob in this area, so I'm gonna have to trust you guys :wink: I'll start this off, but since I don't know a lot, most of it's blank :wink:

Where The Streets Have No Name (-)
Preferred guitar: Strat
Delay: 362 ms
Distortion:
Wah: no
Compression:
Chorus:
Reverb: (your choice, really)
Gain: 3.5
Treble: 5
Middle: 5
Bass: 3.5
Pickup Settings: middle, bridge
Other Notes and Tips:

The guitar is pretty clean for the most part (maybe a tiny bit of overdrive), but there's one
verse where you'll need a stronger overdrive.

I'm pretty sure that with Streets Edge uses a stereo delay set up like this, taken from amnesta.net

Guitar (Stratocaster) -> Signal split A/B:

A -> 352ms (1-2 repeats) == 3/16 @ 129 bpm with modulation
[ with input signal + about 70% delay volume mix ] -> Amp #1 --- Panned mostly Right

B -> 523ms (1 repeat only) == 9/32 @ 129 bpm with modulation
[ with input signal + about 50% delay volume mix ] -> Amp #2 --- Panned mostly Left

Edge uses compression in Streets as well and I think an overdrive for the Cities a flood part, probably a Tubescreamer
