Glastonbury effects

What effects does Edge use for "Glastonbury"?
I was at the show in Horsens, Denmark, yesterday (FOS ). That openig sound (when Bono screams out to the high note) of Glastonbury just blew everyone away and left people with their mouths open, just going "wow...". I think it's some sort of heavy fuzz sound but there is something more going on there. Maybe an autowah? Any ideas?

If you are talking about the vocal effect, that sounds similar to the effect used for the intro to "Until the End of the World". (Which I am not 100% what was used)

The main riff seems to be the Death By Audio Harmonic Transformer. But I will have to look into that more.

The autowah bit might be the Digitech Synth Wah.

I got a hold of an IEM of Glastonbury. The autowah could be the Korg A3?

That part I remember hearing; singing through the pickups on the guitar. Although, I don't remember the origin of that story and if it's 100% accurate. It could be, just wondering where that story surfaced.

What effects or processing... that I'm not sure. Could have been some Eno-isms.
