Fast Cars Chords HERE

Fast Cars

(Standard Tuning)

Code:
Intro: A G

A
My cell is ringing

No ID
                     G
I need to know who's calling

A
My garden's overgrown
                     G
I go out on my belly crawling
A G
I got CCTV, pornography, CNBC
A
I got the nightly news
                   G
To get to know the enemy

A G A G
All I want is a picture of you
A G A G
All I want is to get right next to you
A G A G
All I want is your face in a locket
A G
Picture in my pocket
A G
I take a pill to stop it

C Em
I know these fast cars
(stop)
Will do me no good

I'm going nowhere
Where I am it is a lot of fun
They're in the desert to dismantle an atomic bomb
I watch them channel hop
Check the stocks
I'm in detox
I want the lot of what you've got
If what you've got can make this stop

All I want is a picture of you
All I want is to be right next to you
All I want is your picture in a locket
Your face in my pocket
Take a pill to stop it

I know these fast cars
Will do me no good

C G
Don't you worry about your mind

(Don't you worry about your mind)
D A
Don't you worry about your mind

(Don't you worry about your mind)
C G
You should worry about the day
                      D
That the pain it goes away
                     A
You know I miss mine sometimes

SOLO: C G D A C A

There is no fiction
That will truly fit the situation
I'm documenting every detail
Every conversation
I'm not used to talking to somebody in their body
Look, there's somebody in a body, somebody in a body

(Tabbed by mirrorballman)
--------------------------------------------
Pretty easy song, the chorus is the same as the rest, A and G, just different strumming...listen to the song how Edge plays it...

I'm also almost finished with a good Love and Peace or else tab, then we got the whole album I think

Some changes:
Intro/Verses- A to A#/A (shift A fingering up 1 fret, but play the open A string)

Prechorus- A to A/G to A/C

Chorus- C, Am, Em

Bridge- C, G, D, A, C, G, D, A
Solo- C, D, C, G, D

Sorry to resurrect an old thread...but I've seen a few Fast Cars requests lately and U2jer's modifications were great.

A/G is [3022200] and I believe A/C is [X322200]...I hate slash chords. Depending on how you play your A (I usually use my index, middle, and ring finger) you can do the G and C voicing with your little finger. If you bar A, use your ring finger, etc. It's not too hard. This could be a fun one to get onstage and play with the band.

i actually play this one pretty lazy, but it sounds really nice.

i just strum (X02220) right to (X03330) and then back. i was just messing around a couple days ago and this actually sounded the best.
