Here is a pic of it and my two main players...

Nice amp and nice guitars!:D Yep your looks similar to Edges. Although Edges is most likely vintage.

What is funny, is I have always had a "beater" that I played more than my "nice" guitar. I bought the American Strat years ago, and had a Aria Pro II that I played all the time, while the strat was unloved. I bought that Fretlight as a novelty since I got it for super cheap (My company distributes them and I met the owner and he hooked me up), and I actually like it more than the Strat now. The neck is terrific and it's made in the same factory as a bunch of other chinese guitars (Epiphone & Ibanez) and it is solid.

I had a huge old 1964 amp from a company called "Rocky Mount Instrument Company" that has a original 15" JBL D series speaker in it, but the amp part was going out on me...I have been wanting a nice new tube amp for a while and this one, was by far my favorite. I need to sell that RMI-140 and get some more toys...

I bought a Fender Blues Jr Deluxe Hot Rod NOS a month ago, and then noticed a VERY similar looking amp to mine in this video.

Anyone know what it is next to the Vox?

Off topic, but Dallas does do that Vertigo siren sound in that video :p

Right. Edge does too. But getting it to regenerate with the volume alone doesn't seem to work. Manipulating the effect itself, as I showed in the video I made does seem to work. Being that the multiple rise and fall of the siren occur once Dallas is back under the stage... it's possible that Dallas is doing that part of the effect.

As for the Fender Harvard, one of the salesmen at Guitar Center Hollywood said that Edge went on a Harvard kick and bought up a few.

I think Dallas mentioned that they have around 8 to 11 of them now (Not all being used at once, ofcourse... One is in the setup and the others are backups). I think he said that Danny Lanois turned him on to the Harvard.

I'm so happy I didn't walk in there. Would have had to fight with some serious temptation...

 I had to hold myself back from even touching it, which I miserably failed to do. I didn't play through it though. The place had all kinds of vintage gear. I couldn't afford anything in there. I need to get saving up!

  • A vintage Epi Casino, same year as Edge's and same finish!:drool::drool:
  • A 73 Gretsch Country Gent same finish as Edge's
  • A ton of vintage Les Pauls
  • A 1950 Fender Telecaster

:faint:

Just to name a few of the things that I was about to die from standing in front of.

You sure you didn't get struck by a car on your way to work last week and are currently writing us from heaven???! I'm sort of happy there aren't any vintage stores around my place, I think I'd be massively broke or would have succumb to illegal activities to afford all the gear.

I applaud your strong will not to grab one of the guitars and try to run the fastest you ever have...

 I'm no longer in heaven, got back home today from Tennessee. That place was amazing though! I could really have walked out of that store with some gear. If I were to grab something and make a run for the door it would definitely be the Gretsch Country Gentleman. I saw it and immediately saw Edge playing it (in my mind of course), I was playing it too but I think of Edge anytime I see certain types of guitars. There was so many 60's Gibsons it was incredible! I've never seen something like it before. I don't have anything like that near me, so I guess I'm a little lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it.
