That's a lot of money just a for a guitar strap. However I own a Levy strap and they are quality, even if that price is high they are worth it. I've wanted to get Edge's guitar strap he has on his Casino.

Hmm do you have a pic of the strap on his Tele? I think a lot of the straps he uses are Levy, I've seen them used on a few of his guitars.

I don't think that's the exact model but it's the closest I've found. The one in black of course.

I like this Tele and I like this strap.
That is definitely a cool guitar with a strap that's just as cool! Wonder why he never breaks that guitar out live. Maybe the Telecasters he's already using get the tone he likes/recognizes is best for the song. Of course there's the fact that the Tele in the picture has humbuckers and his live Teles have single coils.

I think the 1966 that is getting used is because that is what he recorded "Vertigo" and "...Boots' with? I am pretty positive of that, in regards to "Vertigo"
If you see the bit in the Pasadena DVD's... when they showed up to Barcelona for the tour rehearsals... Edge tells Dallas "Give us a guitar". And Dallas hands him the Telecaster Custom (in the pic above). It shows him playing it for (if memory serves) "...Boots" and "Magnificent".
He also used it for the rooftop gig at the BBC for "Magnificent"

So a Tele for "Magnificent" you say? He toyed with a tobacco Telecaster in the studio, during the making of the album. (It was on one of the U2.com video). It appears to be the Fender 2009 Sunburst American Vintage '52 Telecaster w/Piezo Acoustic System that is mentioned in the Oct 2009 Music Radar Online Article.

Ahh thanks E_O! I wasn't so sure that the Kokopelli was right, they look so incredibly similar. Do you happen to know what model the strap is that Edge has on his Casino?

The make it in the black, brown, green and tan. Edge's is tan.
