Hi, i'm trying to find a decent edge sound with my equipment:
Fender MIM HSS strat
Digitech RP-255
Vox AC30 Amplug
M-audio Fast Track Pro
so i've put up a video with various setups.
The first setup is my own preset on my amp, and all the other ones use the modulated delay on the rp255 with a touch of reverb. When the vox amplug is connected, it's just pure effects from rp-255 into vox amplug. When the amplug is not connected, i'm using the vox ac30 top boost amp modeling on the RP-255.
1st setup:
Guitar -> Fender Mustang Amp w/ my preset -> Sm57 into my audio interface
2nd setup:
Guitar -> RP-255 (with amp modeling and mod delay)-> Aux input of my Amp -> Sm57 into my audio interface
3rd setup:
Guitar -> RP-255 (no amp modeling but used for effects) -> Vox AC30 amplug -> Aux input of my Amp -> Sm57 into my audio interface
4th setup:
Guitar -> RP-255 (with amp modeling and mod delay)-> straight into my computer via usb
5th setup:
Guitar -> RP-255 (no amo modeling but used for effects)-> Vox AC30 amplug -> headphone out into the 1/4inch input of my M-audio interface
