Edge's lates Line 6 guitar is an electric model; Line 6 JTV-69.

Friend of mine took this picture a few days after he received it. I didn't see any clips of him using it at any of the remaining 360 shows.

A bit more about the Line 6 JTV-69...

Hailing from our Los Angeles-based Custom shop, JTV-69US is a top-flight U.S.A.-made electric guitar of the highest caliber.

JTV-69US was designed in the image of the first successful solidbody electric guitars, but updated for today's cutting-edge player. Your choice of classic ash or alder body, quarter-sawn maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard, and 25-1/2” scale length tap depths of tonal richness and warmth while preserving the design's historic bright, percussive snap.

To make the most of this tonal splendor, the PAF-style humbucker in the bridge position complements the 60’s-style single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions. (All pickups are loaded with alnico magnets and wound to James Tyler's specs).

Completing the package: the comfortable Tyler ’59 neck profile, brand-new James Tyler Custom Tremolo bridge, and stunning good looks in 15 classic and contemporary finishes.

James Tyler Variax

It could be interesting to see if Edge utilizes the guitar in the making of the next album or on the next tour.

Could he do a whole show, or most of one, with the Line 6 JTV-36? Probably. But knowing his love of 'vintage' guitars, it is probably not likely.
