Digitech Whammy issue

Ok so I've had my Digitech Whammy for just slightly over a month now and it has, in the past couple days, stopped returning to the original pitch when I take the treadle all the way in the heel position. I tried recalibrating it several times so I know that didn't work. Could there be something up with the electronics or whatever inside the pedal? I'm really getting aggravated by this as it's made it completely useless to do stuff with it like that sweeping thing Edge does on EBBTTRT, and probably more accurately what I mean on Mofo. It's truly annoying and very frustrating. Maybe return it?

I was going to suggest recalibrating it and since it didn't work I have no idea what's wrong. I've never had any problems with mine. Have you tried checking if there's some help/FAQ section on DigiTech's website? Or Google maybe?

Nevermind, I fixed it. Here's what I did. Other than hold down the switch when
powering back on I just powered it back on.

• Unplugged it
• Rocked the pedal all the way back
• Held the switch down
• Plugged it in
• Released the switch when the effect light flashed
