Dear All

Me and some mates are making a band, but are stuck on a name, has anyone got any suggestions? we are mostly covering U2 at the moment but we will eventually move on :bono:

An Aussie U2 covers band? Sounds great! But if you are going to be an original band, my advice would be to go for obscurity, the most bizarre names are often the best, especially once you get to know the band. Just avoid cliche and thing outside the square. As for a suggestion...

the inconsequential binmen.....or wet paint...actually on second thouhgts you'd better not take wet paint coz if my mate found out she'd kill me....

What about naming yourself after something really normal like the street you're living in, the name of your (former?) school. Or the day of the week today. These are the best names.

Another U2 Tribute? I think its great. I play bass in a U2 Tribute
from Cleveland, Oh. called Zoo Station. Whatever you call your
band, keep it U2 familiar and watch the success. We are almost finished with our own cd, but much thanks to U2 and their fans
we have seen a lot of success.

Take Care
