:tsk: :banghead: :censored: :grumpy:

If that's the track list, that really really stinks. And I HATE to be negative about their releases. I didn't bitch about the CD because that CD wasn't for us hard core fans anyway. But the DVD is; or should be as it's less likely a moderate or off-hand fan would sit and watch a bunch of videos. And while I expected to get a video for all of the songs on the CD, the repetition of this list surprises me, especially on main section; I would be surprised if this is correct with Walk On & Stuck listed twice plus they have New Years day as listed from Red Rocks, but Sunday Bloody Sunday, isn't.

And the bonus disk? Ugh. Slane Pride, Sometimes One Take, the two versions of One, and the HQ Vertigo vid are all found on other DVD's. And it's not like they have a ton of DVD's out there in the first place.

I was hoping for/figured on:

The 17 tracks from the CD; plus:

1. COBL
2. ABOY
3. OOTS
4. AIWIY
5. Angel Of Harlem
6. When Love Comes To Town
7. One Tree Hill
8. The Unforgettable Fire
9. Bad
10. I Will Follow

It would have been very easy with this disk to appease the fans who have been clamoring for the Best of 1980-900 on DVD.

Instead we get:

4 versions of One
4 versions of Vertigo
2 versions of Stuck
2 versions of Walk On
2 versions of Sometimes
2 versions of Pride
2 versions of Beautiful Day

Maybe I'm being naive, but I'm doubting this tracklist.

well there hardly going to have a totally different track listing than the CD are they :|

Half that stuff is already included in a previous release...Maybe it's geared towards "newer" fans... I know I won't be buying it. What about the Milan DVD? I haven't seen the tracklisting for that yet.

There seem to be too many "alternate" versions in the main disc for this. Too many "making-of" we have had before. Give us more (different) tracks.

This is poor. In some ways I am more annoyed by this than the CD. With DVD they have the space to give people what they want - MUSIC!

which Sunday Bloody Sunday Video is meant by this - I don't know any.... is there one out there?

and I don`t get it: why not the New Years Day Video - it`s beautiful

and once again "Sometimes" the two versions - the same was also on the 1990-2000 DVD - that does not make any sense

and as a Bonus there could have been so mutch better Video material:

- Love is blindness
- Angel of Harlem
- Unforgettable Fire
all superb Videos...
- all I want is you
- the Video for Red Hill Mining Town (that never showed up) - I WANT TO SEE IT!!!!!
etc. etc. etc......:scream:

I think there's at least a couple errors with this; hopefully a lot of errors. There's only one version of Sunday Bloody Sunday officially; and that's from Red Rocks. On U218.com in the videos section they talk about the director of the NYD video and it's location. It's the official version, not Red Rocks.

Never saw the Love Is Blindness Video. Is that on the Numb VHS single?

Well, first thing is I don't understand why certain songs are repeated.. like Stuck In A Moment and Walk On

But just for these videos...

Yeah, that's a good chunk of the tracklisting. Not too shabby.

I don't agree with all of the choices, but at least half of them will be nice & worthwhile to me.

here you go - you can find nearly everything on youtube: the Video:

and this is correct on the U218 Site there it says - SBS from Red Rocks and NYD normal video - that makes sense.

But there the guys also say that we will not get the "Saints" Video from Chris Milk. There they say Hamish Hamilton - and Hamish did only the live shot. :(
