ABC News: U2 Makes First Live Morning Show Appearance

The location of the unprecedented morning TV event has yet to be announced, but the group's performance coincides with the release of its highly anticipated new album, "No Line on the Horizon," which hits stores Tuesday March 3.

The record is the 12th studio release from the Irish rockers, who have been together for more than 30 years. The album's first single, "Get On Your Boots" was broadcast on radio stations in Ireland this week and is currently available on U2's Web site.

"No Line on the Horizon" follows U2's highly successfully 2004 album, "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb."

The commercially successful and critically acclaimed musicians hit the big-time in the 1980s and have remained an integral part of the pop culture and music scenes ever since.

How did Fordham get so lucky?

I went to Fordham Prep, so thinking aloud is a good choice imo. Has security checkpoints surrounding the campus so would be kinda hard to "sneak in"
And enough room to have the stage setup, etc

Thanks for this explanation, Chazman. I've been wondering why this school was chosen...why not Hofstra or another university in the NYC area.

Oh, well. I hope the kids have lots of fun!
